Farm and Ranch Fencing
Split rail fences are as beautiful as they are historic. These types of fences can be built with either two or three rails and can be enhanced with the addition of wire to keep small animals in or out of your property.
Post and Rail fencing is typically used for containing livestock or is seen on large country lawns. This is also a beautiful option to add a rustic look to a homes landscape. Rail fences can be 2, 3, 4 and either stacked, doweled or screwed to the post. Wire can also be added to these fences.
Jackleg fence consists of rails which are supported by two uprights that are joined together forming a long legged X. One of the great advantages is that there are no holes to dig, perfect for steep or rocky ground.
Wire is used in many places and many ways. Barb wire used with woven wire is useful as a livestock deterent. Electric wire atop a wooden rail is excellent for cribbing horses. The possibilities are endless.
